Paediatric Life Support (Infant & Child Life Support)

This Paediatric Life Support course can be adapted to suit a variety of audiences, from the complete novice through to those who are skilled but feel they need their resuscitation skills updating. Audiences range from parents, school teachers and other first aiders through to dentists and other health care professionals. Resuscitation training normally takes place over three hours and includes the necessary theory followed by lots of practical 'hands on' training and practice.

The Paediatric Life Support Training Syllabus Includes: 

• The Theory of Resuscitation for Child and Infants
• Incident Management
• Rescue Breathing
• Recovery Position
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation for Child and Infants (CPR)

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student. There is no final exam.

Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for one year.
