Basic Life Support in Dental Practices

New to Manchester Medical Services, we are  proud to offer customer BLS, and BLS + Drug Administration courses tailored specifically to dental practices. The BLS course is trained to the standard required by the GDC, while the BLS + Drug Administration course is especially suitable for those practices who offer sedation during treatment. 

The BLS in Dental Practices Training Syllabus Includes:

• The Theory of Resuscitation
• Incident Management
• Rescue Breathing
• Recovery Position
• Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

In addition, BLS + Drug Administration Training Syllabus Includes:

Cannulation and Drug Administration


Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the student. There is no final exam.

Those students who complete the course and are deemed to have reached the required standard are issued with a certificate that is valid for one year.
